The South West Miss England Semi final to be held in Bristol
The 2019 semi final of Miss England for the whole of the South West of England is being held in Bristol and hosted by Bristol hairdressers “Stages Hair Design “ who have 2 hairdressing salons in Patchway and Stoke Bishop.
The event will be held on Sunday June 16th at the Grand Hotel Bristol which previously held the annual Miss Bristol contest .
Simon Dewey , co owner of Stages Hair said “ We are so excited to be hosting this event and welcoming ladies from all over the South West of England to Bristol. For the past two years we have sponsored the Beautiful Hair round in Miss England with British hair and selected both contestants who have gone on to win Miss England so you could say we know what we are looking for “ said Simon
Stages Hair also found “I’m a celebrity” star Amy Willerton, when she was their first winner of Miss Bristol . The reigning Miss England Alisha Cowie won the Miss Beautiful Hair Award (pictured) and will be attending the Bristol event as a special guest .
Up to 10 ladies will be selected for the Miss England National final at the South West event which will feature a catwalk & hair show. The eventual winner of Miss England goes on to represent the country at Miss World which has a top prize of $100k which is now in its 69th year and she becomes a global ambassador for Beauty with a Purpose travelling the world visiting various projects funded by the charity.
Entries need to be aged 16-26 and hold a British passport . For a full list of rules please see the entry section on the Miss England website .
