Miss World 2025 is set to take center stage as Telangana proudly hosts the prestigious 72nd Miss World Festival from May 7 to May 31, 2025. All eyes will be on Telangana as it prepares to welcome participants from 120 nations, offering a transformative platform to showcase its vibrant culture, heritage, and tourism potential on an unprecedented scale. The announcement was made at a grand pre-launch press conference at The Telangana’s Tourism Headquarters, attended by esteemed dignitaries and global representatives.
The press conference commenced with a traditional pooja ceremony, symbolizing a blessed and prosperous beginning for the event. The occasion was graced by Mr. Jupally Krishna Rao Garu, Hon’ble Minister for Tourism, Culture & Excise, Government of Telangana; Ms. Julia Morley, CBE, Chairman and CEO, Miss World Limited; Ms. Krystyna Pyszková, the reigning 71st Miss World from the Czech Republic; Mr. Patel Ramesh Reddy, Chairman, Telangana Tourism Development Corporation; and Ms. Smita Sabharwal, IAS, Principal Secretary, Tourism, Culture, Archaeology & Youth Affairs, Government of Telangana.
