Alex is a social work student who advocates against domestic abuse following her pledge to help others overcome the debilitating experience that she has suffered in the past. I have had the pleasure of being Miss Dorset for a year already, during which time I raised £9486 for charity.
Last year I went travelling in Bali where I completed my open water diving license which then allowed me to do a dive clean. I also cleaned any littered beaches I came across which I have continued doing in England.

As well as being a model, I am also a dancer and actress. I was a Finalist and Golden Buzzer Act on Britain’s Got Talent. This incredible experience brought lots of other amazing opportunities such as appearing on the TV shows; This Morning, Good Morning Britain and CBBC, as well as being invited to Buckingham Palace to have afternoon tea with the Princess! Because of these experiences I gained a high social media following which I have tried to use in a positive way to inspire others. I was an ambassador in a ‘This Girl Can’ campaign encouraging young women in my local community to take up sport. I have performed at numerous charity events, including a sell out show in the Liverpool Empire Theatre where all the proceeds were donated to Alder Hey Children’s Hospital. I recently achieved four A*s at A Level, one being in Maths. I therefore created a YouTube revision series in order to pass on my knowledge and support other young students.

As with all of the Miss England rounds , this round is optional and is being held between our 2021 finalists . We want to see the contestants fresh faced, no make up as we want to see the real person . The finalists are invited to submit their own image , no filter , make up free ! Then post on their own social media using the hashtag #barefacetopmodel
We want our finalists to be happy in the skin they are in without the need to pile loads of make up on . Yes we all enjoy wearing make up , but not all the time !
When we launched this round in 2019 , the media couldnt believe a competition like Miss England was going Make up Free.
Stories across the world started to appear in major media channels and our own director Angie Beasley was invited on BBC1 BREAKFAST NEWS to talk about how the Miss England contest has moved with the times .
