Alanta Richards a 16 year old student who lives on the Surrey / Hampshire border will be representing Hampshire in the Miss England national finals in Birmingham.
Alanta’s dad, nan and grandad and all her aunties and uncles live in Aldershot and are excited to hear she has been invited to represent their county after being the only contestant from the area to qualify for the final . Alanta initially entered the London heat of the contest and then the Miss England semi final at the Taj 51 Buckingham Gate Suites & Residences in London in August where she qualified for the final.

Concept Design Solutions , a construction, build and design company based in Bordon is sponsoring Alanta in the competition who logo is proudly being printed on the Miss Hampshire sash which she will be wearing on the final catwalk in her glamorous evening own!
“My ambition in life is to become a fashion model and influencer, I went to Weydon school in Farnham. But my family all live in Aldershot alongside the home of the British army” said Alanta.
“I want to thank my mum who has supported me throughout the Miss England heats and final , she thinks this is a such a good opportunity to gain more life skills and experience . I cant wait! “
Alanta’s hobbies include horse riding, trick and western style riding. She is also a 7 year fan of Jadon Sanchos! When she went to her first football match she got Jadon sanchos shirt!
The Miss World Ethos is Beauty with a Purpose which encourages the contestants to raise funds and awareness for good causes. 
During her time in the contest Alanta raised funds for Papyrus, the Young Suicide Prevention charity at a local fete & visited companies mostly based in Hampshire to raise funds .
Alanta is now taking part in the 2 day Miss England national final sponsored by DentaKay Dental Clinic on the 16th & 17th October at the Holiday Inn Birmingham Airport .
If she wins she will be the youngest contestant to ever represent England at Miss World.
