Tenterden Groundsman wears Leprechaun’s outfit for Mr England charity run & wins top award

PRESS RELEASE –

The most fun & unique Fundraiser in the recent Mr England contest was Thomas Dodd (32) from Tenterden, Kent . Tommy was presented with his award from Cancer Survivor and owner of Highborn London Tracey Broadway on behalf of BALLS TO CANCER charity. 

Tommy works on the roads in Kent & organised FIVE x 10k runs for the Balls to Cancer charity wearing a Leprechaun’s outfit around his home county .  He was one of 12 finalists who raised almost £5,000 collectively  in 2 weeks in the lead up to the contest .

Tommy shows off his award with his fundraising costume that he wore on his runs!

The Balls to Cancer charity help families affected by Cancer.

Thomas doesn’t intend to stop there , fundraising is still open and he has now got the fundraising bug and has already completed 6 runs. 

Tommys is now in with a chance of winning a place in an international pageant next year for the MAN OF THE YEAR contest.

Tommy was presented with his award by Cancer Survivor Tracey Broadway who was judging the contest on behalf of the charity BALLS TO CANCER . Tracey now owns her own skincare range called HIGHBORN LONDON .

The winner of Mr England is Kings Guard Manuel Alcantara Turner ,who is in the British Army based in Windsor.    Manuel will now represent England in the next Mr World final due to be held in Vietnam in November.

Tommy was presented with the fundraising award in Mr England from Cancer Survivor and owner of Highborn London Tracey Broadway on behalf of BALLS TO CANCER charity.

Other Award winners on the night include;

Public vote winner; Bal Tattla (26) an accountant from West London

Social Media King was Cristian Hawkins (25) from Sussex

Twelve contestants competed for the Mr England title at the Georgian style City Rooms in Leicester. Following a national search that attracted over 150 entries. Before the show Four of the finalists appeared on ITVs This Morning show ahead of the final.

The final 12 competed in an interview , fashion shoot. The catwalk show style final was hosted by the current Miss England, lifeguard Milla Magee who helped organiser Angie Beasley find contestants when she appeared in the national media . Milla posed on Newquay Beach with her surf board with images appearing across national media which attracted more entries .

Each finalist received a gift pack including fine fragrance from Theodoros Kalotinis Perfumer.
