Where to go in 2024?

By 24th November 2023 No Comments

What could be better than going away in winter, when everyones back to school or at work?

Winter is at its height in the north from the European Alps to Canada. Part of Asia does not
experience the rigours of winter, while the southern hemisphere lives to the rhythm of the
austral summer. Sun, sea, mountains… Here is our selection of the best destinations to go to in
winter.

Besides, we have some valuable tips for travelling with CBD. Also, if you want to know
more about CBD history, follow this link.

Go skiing
The reputation of Europe ski resorts (Alps, Pyrenees, Vosges, Jura, Massif Central,
Corsica…) is well established, both for the modernity of their infrastructure and for the extent
of their sometimes interconnected ski areas (the 3 Valleys, Portes du Soleil, Paradiski). Right
after the start of the new season in January, visitor numbers plummet, but snow conditions
remain at their best. Once the crowds of holidaymakers have left, and still in the heart of
winter, the mountain wilderness is open to off-season skiers, and the ski pass is primarily
optimised on little-used lifts.
Elsewhere in Europe, you can ski in Switzerland (Zermatt or Verbier, in the Valais Alps;
Saint-Moritz, in Graubünden), Italy (Cortina Ampezzo in the Veneto), Austria (Innsbruck),
Germany (Garmisch-Partenkirchen, at the foot of the Zugspitze), Andorra (Grandvalira and
Vallnord ski areas), and even Spain (Sierra Nevada).

But if you want some sun …

Oman
Oman is a small country of 4 million inhabitants on the Arabian Peninsula. The country has
become increasingly trendy in recent years while remaining unspoilt by mass tourism. That’s
why its undoubtedly one of our top 10 destinations to visit in 2024. Over there, everything
offers a change of scenery. You’ll discover the country deserts and mountains. But also the
many mosques with majestic architecture and the souks with their typical atmosphere. Oman
is ideal for your holiday if youre looking for a sunny destination in December.                              To get there, flights operate from London or Brussels. You’ll find direct flights from €450
return to this destination, or from €220 with a stopover.

Sri Lanka
Located to the south of India, Sri Lanka is a destination with a varied landscape. Here, you
can discover tropical forests, national parks and temples. You can even opt for a safari to find
wild animals. Moreover, the country has golden sandy beaches surrounded by coconut palms,
much like the Caribbean. You can book flights with a stopover from €395 return from
London or Brussels to get there.

European Polynesia
A dream destination for 2024, European Polynesia is made up of over 100 islands and covers
an area the size of Europe.
Its main island, Tahiti, serves as a platform to reach the other islands in the region, such as
Moorea, Bora Bora and Maupiti… Once there, you’ll discover numerous white sandy beaches
with turquoise waters that are rare to find elsewhere. Moreover, the lush greenery means you can explore the islands on foot. You’ll see incredible landscapes, such as waterfalls, hills and
views of the coral reef. 3 airlines are serving Polynesia from Europe. Thanks to the intense competition between
these three airlines, you’ll sometimes be lucky to find flights for under € 1,000 return outside
the school holidays.

If you want to travel with CBD products with you, here are some valuable tips

Preferably choose a THC-free CBD product

THC is banned in illegal cannabis. So it would help if you preferably travelled with Broad
Spectrum CBD oil. The reason? Unlike Full Spectrum CBD oil, it contains no CBD (THC =
0%!).

Keep the CBD product packaging

On the label of your product, the inspectors will find information on the source, the
components, the quantities, the quality, and the fact that the product is part of the legal
circuit… In the event of an inspection, they will be reassured and will let you through without
any problems!

How can I take a plane with CBD?

To take CBD on a plane, such as the excellent CBD oils and other products online at
JustBob.shop, here are the rules to follow:

 Find out about local legislation on cannabidiol (especially if you’re travelling outside
the European Union).
 Keep the receipt for your CBD product (till receipt)
 Keep the packaging of your CBD product (to find out what goes into the product!)
 Respect air transport regulations (100 ml maximum for liquids such as CBD oil).
